Concept and Features
The Le Velo Cafe clients, Sue and Andy Baker, are a couple who aspired to bring their inner city dream to Wentworth Point.
Their ideal interior incorporates street art, photography and their passion for cycling. Focusing directly on the client's needs, the intent was to create an organic, contemporary cafe, where users are encouraged to unwind, dine in and relax. The entry is cladded by natural oak wood planks, fashioning a warm and inviting welcome as you enter the cafe.

Natural lighting is a big feature of the space, consisting of a modern light filled atrium. The colour palette of soft pastels, adds an elegant sense of fun. The warm finishes of soft oak timbers, honed tile floors, contrasted with polished concrete finishes and gelato coloured tiled details evoke a playful aesthetic.

The beaming, bright ambience creates a light-filled and joyous space for the user. Retaining the nostalgia of the original industrial structure and adding an exposed ceiling creates a new and vibrant atmosphere.
